When School of Rock came to Susan Blond, Inc. in 2006, it was experiencing the growing pains of many budding companies: the school openings were not drawing the buzz each local chapter had hoped. Susan Blond, Inc. implemented a media relations program with a two-pronged approach: to use the Founder and the CEO as thought-leaders on music education on a national scale, and to bring local attention to the individual schools to help drive up enrollment. Our national media campaign helped School of Rock be seen as pioneers in how young children can learn an instrument, setting the stage for franchisees to double over our two-year campaign.
